SIM is one of the few things which is considered impossible to hack. Security Research labs in Germany has found some of the vulnerabilities with 56-digit unique code which leaves 750 million users of SIM cards at risk.

How is it Possible

At target SIM card a message is sent to deceive as a carrier. In response to a received message a useful inof is needed which further lead to find the 56- digit code.This can allow hacker to get access the target SIM. After accessing your SIM card, the intruder can send text messages and even can listen to your calls and can easily taking control on every present data in your SIM card.

Confirmation ?

From samples tested almost 25% of SIM cards were found vulnerable to such penetration. NFC is newer technologies is also at risk. Usually over the past decade, operators use a strong encryption method called Triple D.E.S
